Jeremy Ball – Ever since I was 10, when my dad bought our first VHS camcorder, I have been fascinated by capturing images. These little slices of time, frozen, always seemed to be supernatural, calling our attention to what we usually miss each moment. Most of my life has been dedicated to some form of visual art from graphic design to photography and video. I work with many non profit organizations as a documentary film maker, photojournalist and designer.
I’ve been lucky enough to travel to New Orleans to document the Katrina recovery effort and places as far away as Haiti to cover the start of new programs for UNEP (United Effort for the Poor). Probably the best part of my job are the people and personalities I meet. The stories they share and the time I spent with them are priceless.
